Hunger, as natural as the rain, echoes across the aeons. It is not steady meals that make us wise but learning which fruit to eat. Too many trees need ladders. Finding a ladder is more luck than skill.
It is how we know we are alive, part of the world around us, that our mind and our body are one… that we are alive. Such pain is what it is to be alive… to be without it is to live in a dream, not reality
